Great app to get to know, remember and discover gin. Many different kinds and constantly updated!
Again, if you love gin, this is a great app to dive into! (Email sign-up is easy...FB not necessary.) So Im researching & collecting gin...have been for a while...and this app recognizes about 75% of my collection...which it originally identified as about 7% of whats out there...but now identifies as 5%. If you understand what Im pointing out here, that means theyve added more gins to their database...even though Ive been adding to mine...and Im not keeping pace.
-> as I said before, good information found here...hope they expand app-capabilities (facilitate submitting gins not in database, scans, photos, etc.)...highly recommend app, as is.
A very nice designed App with background Information like used botanicals and matching tonics and also other useful features!
I like the idea and overall design but some things that would make this app handy for me are missing:
-text reviews (for gin, tonic and together as well)
-adding tonic to gin for reviews or in wishlist/tasted and add notes (e.g. with special ingredient or name of the bar)
-sort by ingredient/herbs or maybe manufactured country
-request to add specific gin or tonic as there is a big variety
-fav recipes or write own recipes (could be merged with notes)
-price (though difficult as this is depending on the users country)
-minor thing: wishlist=try or buy?
Its such a pleasure to see how many other people love a good Gin&Tonic.
Very inspiring recepies and so many little details that guarantee you a great G&T experience.
Its so satisfying to see the community grow and to discover the newly added Gins daily.
The personal profile gives a perfect overlook for your own gin collection and the idea of a own whishlist is just super cool and helpful.
Im also very thankful for the great focus on the Tonic Water section.

Some bad moments
Facebook is the only way you can sign up to fully use this app so since I dont use FB, I cant give a complete review. Its a shame because I think its a great idea for an app especially for gin lovers like myself.
This is a wonderful app however I wish they added more Gins more frequently.

App is a nice tool. Have noticed that New Amsterdam gin isnt in the database. Strange considering its one of the more popular American brands.
